QSL Layout forgotten

Beitrag von YO5LD »

Hello,

My QSL Layout got forgotten.
I redid the layout, but it always resets back to default after each program restart.
Even doing an export of the layout after changing then reimporting it won't bring back the modified layout.

What could be wrong?

Hello,

I assume your virus scanner is blocking the writing of the file ...ST2.

I don't think so :-(
The export works fine, I see the file being created in EXPORT/LAYOUT01.ST2.
If I import this file, I don't get back the same layout that was "exported".

Also, I do see the YO5LD.ST2 file being modified on disk whenever I do any operation (like LoTW export or so).

No user has ever had a problem like this.
So it makes no sense to assume an error in Ucxlog.

Normally you do the change in "Settings - QSL Layout" and confirm with "Ok", That's all.
Note that every operator has its own layout.

I can not investigate your files because I'm traveling next 2 weeks.

Yes, that's what I'm doing. but after a program restart I do see the ST2 file timestamp being modified, but the Layout forgotten.
Not super urgent to me, but would like to understand what is happening or how can I reset everything without loosing all of my other settings..

Weirdly enough, even exporting the QSL layout and then importing it back won't bring back the original layout.
