I have 3 ideas for the next versions in the contest section.
1) In the window "Select contest" the choice of another callsign. i.e. I have a contest callsing AN2K for the CQ WW/WPX, with this option I can save this with my main callsign.
2) In the working window of contest, a QSY clear the callsign field with CAT.
3) In the same windows, "Complete exchange" field with a Hotkey like Ctrl+U make the next serial number, if a serial is writen.
Tu for the software and your work Ben.

Re: 3 ideas for the next versions.
For idea 1)
you can select another operator (Settings - Operator).
For ideas 2) and 3)
I ask other users for their opinion.

Re: 3 ideas for the next versions.
I realized "idea 3" (but with hotkey Ctrl-X) in UcxLog 6.45 Beta 2.
For "idea 2" we would need agreements for the frequency change treshold, which should be defined for the main modes (CW, Fone, Digital). And I think this feature would need a check box to enable or disable it.

Re: 3 ideas for the next versions.
A checkbox is ok, I think is not necesary in change of mode, only in change of frecuency, with this feature is easy to clear the field callsign and save the wrong call. With this checkbox they are a choice for this operate mode or the normal.
Maybe is a good idea also for the window "QSO Work" and the bouton "Recall QSO" can re-write the last callsign.
