Please note this is just a suggestion.

I am showing a person UcxLog who has used Logger32 for ages now and although he likes UcxLog there are a few things that he is asking for that say Logger32 does that UcxLog does differently, understandable....

What he wants to know if is it possible to display say the 'Country /IOTA Island (if relevent) in another field in the blank space left on the Worked Window? this is to just allow the operator to quickly look down the list of stations worked and see where they have worked.

Please dont shoot the messenger, I am just relaying thoughts from a new uer.

Hi James,

I'm pretty sure that nobody would shoot the messenger ;) .

The IOTA-related information is always the first in the last column (actually in your example to be seen at GD3YUM).

What do you exactly mean by Country /IOTA Island (if relevent)?

Should Country cover the full name (e.g. Guadeloupe) or just the prefix (e.g. FG)?
And how could IOTA be (meaningful) connected to that (although it's is already there)?

Hi Nick,

Thanks for the comments.

My friend who is looking at UcxLog just thought that it would be nice to see a separate column with just the country names or island names in it, i.e. Guadeloupe, France, Isle of Man, Spratly Island, etc.

I pointed out to him that it shows items such as you pointed out, i.e. the EU-116 for GD3YUM's call-sign, but he said that if you are working quite a few entries and quickly, it would be nice to see the countries as a separate field to easily (and without having to think) see which countries were being contacted at that particular time.

It was just an idea being thrown out there to see if this would be useful and see if others think so too, especially as there is a lot of empty space left in the logbook window!
